On behalf of our cousin Andy and family:

On October 11, 2024, we lost a great man, Andy Gomez. He was a warrior who fought against leukemia and a lover of all things family. He was a son to a proud father and mother; a brother to three lucky siblings; a husband to a lovely wife; a father of three awesome sons; a grandfather to three beautiful boys; and a beloved cousin to many.

Andy was employed with Visalia Unified School District for 15 years, first as an educator, and then as a principal. Andy enjoyed seeing his students' eyes light up as he shared his knowledge with them. As a principal, Andy greeted his students with fist bumps and a smile. He enjoyed working alongside his fellow educators and felt the pride of each successful school year.

Andy's family is facing a tremendous loss right now and any donation, no matter the amount, will help lighten the heavy load they are carrying on their shoulders as his death was sudden and unexpected. Andy is loved by so many.
