In loving memory of Vito Genovese

Family and Friends,

Unfortunately, this past Tuesday night my Godmother (Donna) lost her husband suddenly. He went into cardiac arrest in his sleep. Upon finding him, her and EMTs could not bring him back.

After this traumatic experience, Donna is now trying to sort out their finances and because this was so unexpected, she’s left with not being able to afford a proper burial.

Vito was an amazing guy. He was kind hearted, funny and was a great story teller. He served his country in the Navy for many years- and was PROUD of that.

I spent every birthday with them since I was 3 years old, literally up until 2019. (30 years old still having a birthday dinner with my godparents- I looked forward to it!)

My heart is broken for my “Aunt” Donna. She is completely lost without Vito and doesn’t know what’s the next step. We have helped as much as we can but I’m hoping as a community we can raise some in addition to take the financial burden off of her. Every penny will make a difference.
