Dear family and friends,

I am writing to you all to let you know about the loss of my mom, Sandra Sarmiento. After almost three years of strongly battling stage 4 breast cancer she unfortunately lost her fight.

For those who knew her personally you know she gave it her all to overcome her illness and not once did she complain despite her difficulties. She was always happy and positive and was so grateful for the treatment she received. We will be forever grateful to her wonderful oncology team and to the friends and family who supported her and were there with her throughout this journey.

As a family we are absolutely devastated by the loss of my mom and we are struggling to find the funds to cover her funeral service and other family arrangements. Based on estimates from the funeral home we are looking to cover basic funeral home charges and the service for my mom which we will hold on Tuesday, October 18th. The cost come out to around $2,500.
