In loving memory of Patricia Becerra

Dear friends,

All of us need help sometimes and it’s hard to ask for it, that’s why I wanted to start this fundraiser to help Patricia’s family in such a difficult time.

I’m writing this today to let you know about the unexpected loss of Patricia, she left us too soon and for sure she will me missed, with my heart broken I share the news that she was found deceased a couple days ago in her apartment.

She was always happy and a free spirit sharing her love for Barcelona FC, the beach and sunny days, if you met her, you know what I’m talking about, I will always have her in my heart and memories.

I feel like all I can do is help her family and that’s the reason why I’m creating this page, this donation will help to pay for the funerary services. Patricia is originally from Barcelona and was living here in Vancouver for many years; her parents and brother are located in Barcelona, and they need to come to Canada.

I kindly ask for your help here; I will create this page and give access to her brother Micky so any money we collect will be directed to him not to me. Every dollar counts so don’t feel like your donation is too small.

Please help me spread the word and let’s support Becerra family in these hard times, money won’t bring her back but at least it will give the family the space to grieve and not worry about money.

Flights are expensive specially over the holidays and they need to fly from Spain to Canada. Please consider donating if you are able to do so, if not that’s ok too, please keep her in your prayers.

Todos necesitamos ayuda y a veces se nos hace un poquito difícil pedirla, por eso quería iniciar esta recaudación de fondos para ayudar a la familia de Patricia en un momento tan difícil.

Escribo para informarles la triste noticia sobre el fallecimiento de Patricia, me duele que ella nos dejó demasiado pronto y de seguro todos la vamos a extrañar muchísimo, con el corazón roto les comparto la noticia de que ha fallecido en su apartamento hace un par de días.

La recordaré siempre alegre y con una gran sonrisa en su rostro, de espíritu libre compartiendo su amor por el Barcelona FC, la playa y los días soleados, si usted la conoció sabe muy bien de lo que hablo, siempre la tendré en mi corazón y en mis recuerdos.

Siento que lo único que puedo hacer en este momento es ayudar a su familia y he decidido crear esta página, para que entre todos les ayudemos con los gastos fúnebres. Patricia es originaria de Barcelona y vivió aquí en Vancouver durante muchos años, sus padres y su hermano viven en Barcelona y necesitan venir a Canadá.

Le pido amablemente su ayuda; estoy creando esta página y le daré acceso a su hermano Micky para que todo el dinero que recaudemos se dirija a él, no a mí. Cada contribución cuenta, así que no sienta que su donación es pequeña.

Por favor ayúdenme a correr la voz y apoyemos a la familia Becerra en estos tiempos difíciles, lamentablemente el dinero no la traerá de regreso, pero al menos le dará a la familia el espacio para llevar el duelo y no preocuparse por los gastos.

Los vuelos son caros y especialmente durante la época de navidad, los familiares de Patricia necesitan volar de España a Canadá. Amablemente le pido que considere donar si puede hacerlo; si no puede no se preocupe, sólo manténgala en sus oraciones para que su alma descanse en paz.
