My loving cousin Monica tragically fell ill roughly over 2.5 years ago and had spent her time fighting to get better. She left behind two young boys 6 and 12 who she loved to the moon and back. Even at her weakest she still made time for her boys with daily to weekly phone sessions. When her sickness took away her ability to walk and talk, she used her eyes to communicate. She would listen and watch as her family told her stories. Her face would light up when she saw her boys approaching and even in her final moments she made sure to light up. Sadly, my cousin Monica Marie Rangel past away on Friday May 18, 2018. She meant the world to our family, which makes this a tough time for us all. She was a brave, loving, compassionate, and caring mother/daughter/sister/cousin/friend. We have set up this account with the goal to raise $50,000 to help cover funeral/memorial expenses, medical expenses, and funds for her boys. The funds will go directly to her family to help cover these expenses as soon as possible.
