Our mother, Maria Elena, as everyone knew her, was the heart and soul of our family. At 72 years old, she was taken from us too soon, but she was surrounded by love in her final moments, with our father by her side. She was the glue that held us together—dedicated, resilient, and always putting her family first. Through every up and down, Mom showed unwavering kindness, loyalty, and respect. She cared for everyone selflessly, never expecting anything in return, and her love touched everyone she met. Her legacy is one of compassion and strength, and she will be remembered for all the wonderful things she did for others.
