In Loving Memory of Geraldo Rodriguez

To those who have not heard the news, our family has experienced an unexpected and unbearable tragedy. On Friday 4/19/2019 at approximately 7:20pm my 9 year old nephew Geraldo Rodriguez Jr and his 10 year old friend decided to take a paddle boat on Bangs Lake in Wauconda. The boat reportedly capsized and both of the kids fell out. The 10 year old boy was rescued by a nearby fisherman and a recovery search began for my 9 year old nephew Geraldo until the early morning hours. On Saturday at approximately 12:00pm my 9 year old nephew Geraldo was recovered from the water by the divers. We were supposed to be celebrating his birthday today, instead we are grieving the loss of this beautiful soul!
