In Loving Memory of Gene Doyle

Donation protected
In support of Debra Doyle, his loving wife, soulmate, twin flame, and partner of fifty years.

Dear friends and family,

With a heavy heart, we come to you to let you know that our good friend, Gene Doyle, has passed away from a cardiac event. He died suddenly on December 28, 2022, while in New Zealand visiting their daughter’s family.

Anyone who knows the Doyle's knows there was no armchair living going on there! They were all out for a day of fun as they often did, from mountains to rivers to the ocean, which is where Gene had just been—snorkeling all morning.

Geno (what we most often called him) was one of a kind, a modern-day renaissance man whose light shined on everyone he encountered. A loved and loving son, husband, father, grandfather, craftsman, teacher, musician, storyteller, visionary, healer, and spiritual warrior, he was an emotional and intellectual genius and one of the truly great men to walk the planet. We are honored to call him a friend and a true brother—the kind of family that goes beyond this life.

Geno had that kind of specialness about him that made everyone feel unique. I know we are one of the many who feel the same way. Indeed one of a kind, there are not enough words to express our loss.

Many of you probably know Gene and Debra lost their son, Reese Doyle, in a tragic accident while kayaking last year. After that mortal wound, they were just starting to heal and to grow a thin layer of skin. To suffer the loss of her son and now her husband of fifty years in less than a year and a half is a devastating loss. The saving grace is that Geno is now with Reese.

There was no plan for Gene's passing in this sudden, untimely and unexpected way. As they thought they had so much more time together, they were unprepared and did not have a life insurance policy. Gene worked full-time as the primary income earner.

Debra is self-employed and being devastated as she is, and unable to work, she has no income for the foreseeable future. On top of so many unknowns to deal with moving forward, this is adding considerable additional stress.

Please consider helping our dear friend Debra with financial support as she treads these deep waters of the unknown. Debra is a selfless giver and healer who has helped so many and now needs our help.

It will take a significant chunk of change to get her on her feet, but we're praying that the divine, along with her beloved friends and family, will come through in her time of need.

Please contribute whatever you can. Every bit helps.
