On Monday, April 13th 2020, Ernesto DeLeon lost his battle to Covid-19.  Ernesto spent the past 30-years working diligently as a nurse at NYC Health+Hospitals|Bellevue.  During his tenure, he was an incredible inspiration and a mentor to hundreds of nurses, doctors and other clinical staff.  He was an immensely kind soul with a humble demeanor.  He will always be dearly loved by his friends who have become family, his coworkers, and relatives.

This page has been created to encourage donations and kind words of support for Ernesto's immediate family.  Please feel free to provide the family with short snippets of the memories you've shared with Ernesto over the years.  Like Ernesto, countless individuals are fighting to survive the pandemic of Covid-19.  We hope that Ernesto's memory will inspire others to take necessary precautions, practice preventative measures, and always be kind to others.  Take care of your loved ones and yourself.
