In Loving Memory of Agean Ser Yang
Donation protected
Hi everyone. It saddens me to announce that my older brother Agean Ser Yang is no longer with us. On Thursday, 7/21/2022, he went on a pontoon trip after work with friends and family to enjoy the nice weather on Lac La Belle Lake in Oconomowoc. Around 7:15 pm that day, he was reported missing after never resurfacing. Several police departments and rescue teams from all over Wisconsin came to help search and recover his body. While the search was conducted, friends and family gathered at the nearby beach area to wait and pray that he would be found. Through all the rescuers' hard work, his body was found and recovered on 7/23/2022.
Agean was born on January 17, 1990, to the loving parents of Toulue Yang, Yang Mee Lee, and stepmom Mai Vang. He was loved, adored, and treasured by his family consisting of siblings Youa Rwm Xiong, Mai Lee Yang, Sydney Deng Xiong, Toukue Thai Yang, Tou Hmong Yang, Kevin Yang, Kycha Yang, and half-siblings Kou Yang, Aliyah Mailor Yang, Vee Yang, Pachai Yang, Jonathon Yang, and Jayden Yang. Family was an essential aspect of his life. As the eldest son, his goal was to support his younger siblings and mother with dementia. He was a respected member of the Yang clan and had provided support anywhere and everywhere he could.
Agean graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences in 2018. He aspired to help those in need, especially in the Hmong community, by translating in medical facilities.
Many people described Agean as humorous, energetic, spontaneous, and caring. He always greeted everyone with a smile and was the life of the party. His energy was contagious, and his presence was known. He enjoyed going on numerous adventures and outings with friends, especially hunting and traveling. He also loved playing soccer and would go out and compete whenever he had the chance. Along with this, he loved music and was a musician himself. He played the guitar and was also in a family band. He would sing and karaoke everywhere he went. He made new friends everywhere he went with his fun personality. He loved everyone and treated everyone like family, as family is essential to him.
It has been a tough year as we just lost sister Mai Lee Yang earlier this year. Even though we all struggled financially, Agean wanted a big funeral for our sister when she passed. We, too, would love to be able to give Agean a big funeral. We would appreciate any help or donations you can provide to support the family as we prepare a proper funeral for Agean.
The date for his funeral was set for August 27th - 29th.
