2nd Annual "In Honor of Yara"

Dear friends and family,
Last year, you all helped us to honor the memory of our daughter Yara by coming together to support refugee youth in San Diego. Your generosity made such an impact not only in the lives of those kids, but also in ours.
This year, we would like to continue to do good in Yara's name. We will again be holding a fundraiser at our house. This year, we will be raising money and collecting home goods for "Just In Time for Foster Youth" and their "First Home for the Holidays" program. This program helps young people who are transitioning out of the foster system to set up their first apartment.
We will use the donations collected through this site to purchase gift cards for Target and IKEA that we will then donate to JIT. You can also purchase gift cards and bring them to the event at our house on Dec 18 from 2-4. If you are choosing to donate through this GoFundMe account, the last day to do so will also be the 18th.
