Donate to help Christine's fight against cancer

Against her knowledge we are creating a GoFundMe for Christine Wilson. Christine is a very proud woman who does not often ask for help, but this is a different circumstance and we as her friends and family are choosing to help her in her fight against cancer.

In February of 2021 Christine was unfortunately diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer, 3 weeks after receiving surgery for a brain Aneurysm. Christine underwent surgery and after many complications due to blood thinners from the aneurysm surgery, In October of 2021 Christine and her family received great news that the surgery was successful & that cancer was considered gone.

However, in late January Christine was suffering from severe abdominal pain and she feared going to the hospital because of the thought that her cancer may have returned. She decided to go to the hospital to receive treatment where that fear came to life, the cancer had returned. In her second bout with Ovarian Cancer which progressed to stage 4 with Sarcoma component a rare cancer with very little data at this tine. Even though Christine is in great health otherwise and we as her family trust in God and the miracles he can make come true, she now needs our help.

Christine is receiving treatment from M.D. Anderson in Houston Texas, which is the #1 Cancer Research & Treatment hospital in the county, between flying back-and-forth from Tennessee and Texas the travel and treatment cost that insurance does not cover, medical expenses are accumulating for the Wilson Family. Both medical and travelling expenses are at an all-time high and as her friends we do not want her to have the added worry of bills stacking up while she is focused on fighting for her life. Christine is a natural born fighter and her number one instinct as a mother is to fight for her family and friends first and worry about herself later. With that being said we feel it is time for her family and friends to join the fight and help Christine and the Wilson family in any way that we can.

Our financial goal for the family is $20,000 and we understand that donating money right now can be tough, but it is going to make all the difference to Christine and her family if we reach our goal. We are also asking for prayers for Christine because we believe that God is with her, and the power of prayer has always been strength in numbers.
