Imogen and Cerys raising money for the NHS
My name is Bethany Langley my neighbours Imogen aged 8 and Cerys aged 7 are making our NHS Thursday 8pm clap very special for all our neighbours on Normanton Park and Little Friday Hill Chingford E4.
Last week Imogen and Cerys sang three songs of their choice and raised £100. This was donated to the NHS that evening.
The girls then had a week to practice some more songs. Not only do they sing but they have lots of other hobbies they enjoy.
This week there was an extra special performance.... as you all know it was Colonel Tom Moore’s 100th birthday on the same day as the NHS clap. We held our 2 minute silence before the 8pm clap for Tom Moore’s birthday.
Imogen and Cerys then sang ‘We’ll Meet Again’ in their military outfits plus another two songs they had learnt.
To finish this wonderful evening off all the neighbours joined in and sang happy birthday.
Last night we raised .... we still have neighbours putting cash through the door to this moment.
We thank all our friends & neighbours for supporting the girls. This surely gets all the community together in these hard times.
All money will be donated to the NHS.
Please please donate and help our frontline carers.
This will surely put a smile on, not only my girls faces, but, the people saving lives.
Thank You.
