My name is Jessica, and when I was eight months pregnant, ICE detained my husband.

On Sept. 6, I went with my husband to Immigration Court at 26 Federal Plaza. It was here that ICE agents took my husband away and deported him to Ecuador.

I am a US citizen with a 9-year-old, an 18-year-old, and a newborn baby. Since I gave birth on Oct. 5, I have been unable to return to work. My husband was deported three days before the birth of our daughter.

I am asking for help to try and take care of my family and find legal help while dealing with the trauma this has caused us.
