Ian's State Track Goal: Be Part of His Success

Ian has been dedicated to his summer track program here in Midland, practicing every Monday and Tuesday and competing throughout the season. He has been apart of the Go-Norm Sole Steppas GNS Track Team and has participated in USATF and AAU meets and will be competing this weekend July 18-19 in the TAAF State Qualifier in San Angelo — something we’ve been working toward all summer. Our goal is to make it to the State Meet in College Station at the end of July 31st - August 3rd.

This program has truly benefited Ian. He’s improved his 400m time by nearly three seconds, competed against athletes from schools across Lubbock, Abilene, and San Angelo, and has had the chance to meet coaches, collegiate athletes, and peers from all over West Texas. It’s been a valuable experience both athletically and personally.

We are asking for any support or sponsorship to help with expenses — gas, food, hotels — as we prepare to travel for these final meets. Any amount helps and we are so appreciative of those who have already encouraged and supported Ian along the way.
