In early September of this year, 29 year old, Iannelli Cerda ran into an old high school classmate. Little did she know on September 12, 2017 this run in would become a curse that has changed her life forever. On that day, she fought off his attempts to rape her, and paid by being brutally beaten, and stabbed over 150 times throughout her body. Iannelli has been in the hospital ever since. Although she is a fighter, and a miracle, she is paralyzed on half of her body, has suffered such brain swelling that her skull cap is removed to relieve pressure, and currently has very little cognitive function. She is going to be forced out of the hospital on or about November 22, due to lack of sufficient insurance. Her family will need to supply her with 24 hour care, and they have limited space to do so. They have found a used 1 bedroom trailer that would provide the bare minimum space they need to care for her, for $18,000, but do not have money, as the bills have added up since September 12.
