Hey Y'all,

I was given the opertunity of a life time to march with the Cavaliers this summer. This has been my dream ever since I began color guard. This oppertunity will teach me many life lessons and how to become a better performer. 

The Cavaliers spend each summer on tour traveling an average of 10,000 miles while performing across the country. The corps is comprised of 150 members, with roughly 50 staff and volunteers joining them at all times throughout the summer. During pre-tour (period spent learning the show) 9-11 hours are spent rehearsing each day, every day.

 

I am asking for a sponsorship to march in the 2014 competition season. The cost to march is $2,750. That covers; fuel, instruction, uniform, instrument/equipment, housing, general liability (accident) insurance coverage, and nearly all meals at winter/spring camps, pre-tour and summer tour (approximately 97%). Individual members will occasionally be responsible for purchasing a meal be purchased on their own (approximately 3%).
