I am raising money for John “Lenny” Scott’s family

Hello my name is Scott (most know me as Hicko). Myself and John/Lenny were very good friends for over 20 years going through Prescot school together, both playing for the school football team and for Rainhill rockets at weekends. We were definitely a big part of each other’s upbringing and then into adulthood, being out most weekends and then becoming fathers to our beautiful children! Tragically, John/Lenny was taken away from us way too soon. He was the most gentle giant anyone could ever know, hence why he got the nickname Lenny (Of Mice and Men) John/Lenny loved his animals (especially his dogs) as much as his own children so i’ve decided to do a sponsored walk up Snowdon in a dog onesie, As I know John would find it hilarious (I can hear his laugh in my head now) The walk will take place on Saturday 24th February with most of the lads we was close to in school (pictured above) and I would be extremely grateful if people could donate whatever they can and all money raised will be going straight to John’s family. Lenny’s funeral is confirmed for 11th March at 11.30 at Greenacres Rainford. Up to now only the service is being held but will confirm any further plans.
