Chase's Kidney Transplant Fund

This is my nephew Chase Gibson. Chase is a junior at Sam Houston State University where is is studying Business Management. He is also the legal guardian of his 15 year old brother Dawson. Chase goes to school full-time and also works full-time to make ends meet to provide a good life for his little brother and himself. As some of you may know Chase's dad Wayne has had Type 2 diabetes since Chase was born. Over the last few years, Wayne's condition has continued to get worse. About 4 years ago, Wayne's kidneys began to fail and he had to start going to dialysis 3 times a week. Recently, Chase decided that he wanted to donate one of his kidney's to his father so that his dad could have a better life. Chase went through all of the necessary test and found out that he was a great match for the transplant and they have scheduled the date of the surgery for January 2nd, 2015. Unfortunately, after the surgery Chase will not be able to work for about 3 months and will have no way to pay for his bills and expenses during that time. This fund will help Chase with his expenses after the surgery and to make sure that all of his bills are taken care of. Chase is a wonderful kid who has handled a lot for a young man his age.
