Timmy's Home Health Care

In the early morning hours of Sunday, November 16, three men brutally beat 20 year old Timothy Mulvey and then ran over him at least twice, dragging him hundreds of yards, and then left him bleeding in the freezing temperatures.  He is currently on his 6th surgery, has shattered bones in his clavicle, pelvis and face, a severe wound in his abdomen, and 2nd degree burns from frostbite.  It is a miracle he is alive; however, he will require at least a month of treatment in the hospital and then several months at-home treatment when he is released.

Timothy has no insurance, nor do his parents.  Medicaid will cover some of the costs, but not until after the fact.  Medicaid will not cover home health care that will be needed during his lengthy recovery.

This is my nephew, but it could easily be anyone.  Wrong place, wrong time, a naive decision, and your life can be forever changed.
