Dear family and friends, as many of you may NOT be aware of my baby brother, Howie Maue, suffered a severe accident at work last night around 6:30 P.M. he was taken to the emergency as he could not feel his body, after a couple of hours and many tests done it was confirmed he fractured his C4 and C5 vertebrae (high cervical and low cervical nerves) this controls mobility, and speech, breathing etc. He went under immediate surgery, which lasted 5 hours, they made an incision through his throat, and back of his neck as the fracture was applying pressure on his spine. He now has 2 metal rods in the back, and a metal plate on the front, and nerve damage throughout the spine, but on the bright side the procedure was positive and things look promising. I am humbly asking for any type of help, well wishes, prayers, as this is to help Howie recover as best he can in a stress free environment and we NEED him back to his “normal weird” self;). It was suggested he gets the care he needs in Colorado or LA, as those are the best rehabilitation centers, and that’s what the funds will be used towards. He currently is in the ICU at Scripps Memorial Hospital if anyone would like to come love on him. We love you all and are eternally thankful to you.
