House-fire destroys all of family's possessions

In the midnight hours of Monday, August 13th, my dear brother and sister, Jesse Blue and Amber Host lost their SaltSpring Island home in a fire.

The family is safe but since they were out of town, by the time the neighbors noticed and tried to call for help, it was too late. Everything that they had built to be more sustainable and self-reliant, all their belongings, food storage, greenhouse, building material, work equipment, and their dog are gone.

Anyone who knows Jesse from stunts and martial arts can also understand this can be even more difficult with the state of the BC movie industry.

I'm asking everyone to PLEASE donate whatever you can and help however you can and get this wonderful family a much-needed restart before the coming fall/winter. They have a 16-year-old son, a 13-year-old and 7-year-old daughters.
