Help Kadi Through Cancer Recurrence and Ongoing Challenges

Hello, my name is Josh Centanni, and I’m reaching out to the community with a heavy heart but deep gratitude for the support we’ve already received.

In 2024, my beloved wife Kadi was diagnosed with nasalpherenginal carcinoma (head and neck cancer). She fought hard through treatment which consisted of chemo followed by a combination of chemo and radiation. She achieved remission in mid 2025.

A later PET scan showed a mass of tissue where the tumor previously was. The tissue was thought to have been scar tissue, but her ENT did a biopsy of the site out of precaution. The pathology reports concluded that the tissue was negative for cancer. However, a few months later a concerning PET scan led to another biopsy. This time the results confirmed that the cancer had returned.

Kadi once again made the brave decision to keep fighting. She will be starting treatment soon which will consist of chemo and immunotherapy.

What should have been a time of healing and rebuilding after the initial cancer has become another intense battle. We thought we had made it through the hardest part, but this new chapter has brought fresh financial and emotional strain.

I am working full-time while balancing the roles of husband and caregiver, and Kadi continues to work every single hour that she can. Between ongoing medical care, lost wages, transportation to appointments, household expenses, and mounting bills, we are once again struggling. Even with Kadi's health insurance, the out of pocket treatment costs are high.
