Honoring Urbano Gonzalez: A Life of Loyalty and Hard Work
On December 15th, our family lost a devoted father, grandfather, spouse, and friend. Urbano Gonzalez was a man defined by his integrity and tireless work ethic. He was always ready to help others, never saying 'no' when someone was in need. His kindness touched many lives, and he was a pillar of support for neighbors and friends alike.
Our world changed forever on October 25th when Urbano was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. The news was a devastating shock, especially since Urbano was never a smoker and always took care of his health. We hoped for more time to fight alongside him, but the illness progressed with heartbreaking speed. Urbano passed away just seven weeks after his diagnosis, leaving us with a profound sense of loss.
Two years ago, when a close friend of Urbano's passed away from cancer, Urbano was one of the first to step up and help raise funds for funeral expenses and to support his friend's family. Today, as we face this difficult time, we hope to honor Urbano's legacy by doing the same for him. We are reaching out to our community for support. Donations will go directly toward funeral and memorial expenses, and to help his family as we navigate this transition. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page or offering your prayers and kind words. Your support and memories of Urbano mean the world to us during this time.
With deep gratitude,
The Gonzalez Family
