Honoring Manny Padilla

With broken hearts, we share the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved friend, Manny. A devoted husband, a loving father, a dedicated public servant, and a true friend to so many. Manny’s presence brought warmth, strength, and compassion wherever he went. His loss has left an unimaginable void in the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Manny proudly served as a Police Officer with the Chula Vista Police Department, where he dedicated himself to protecting and serving the community with courage, integrity, and heart. His service was a reflection of who he was — someone who gave selflessly, stood up for others, and led with kindness and strength.

Beyond the badge, Manny was the kind of person who always showed up — with a helping hand, a kind word, or a joke that made you laugh even on the hardest days. He gave his all to everything he did, especially to his family.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Norma, and their three beautiful children — Bianca, Roman, and Jake — who were the absolute center of his world. As they begin to navigate this heartbreaking new reality, we’re reaching out to our community for support.

This fundraiser is to help ease the financial burden of memorial service expenses and provide some stability for Norma and the kids as they adjust to life without their rock.
