Honoring Ferdinand
Donativo protegido
On September 28 2024, I had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to the best boy, Ferdinand. Ferdinand was born with a congenital liver issue that did not present any symptoms until the last two days of his life. He fought so hard, experiencing sudden blindness, seizures, and other scary neurological symptoms. Ultimately, the most humane decision was to let him go peacefully at PASE Philly. Their staff was incredibly supportive and compassionate during a terrifying ordeal.
Those of you who know Ferdinand know that he just turned one in July. This loss has been sudden, unexpected, and extremely difficult. The last 48 hours have incurred expensive vet bills that have to be paid despite not being able to save our Ferdy.
If you are willing to help my little family out during this painful time, any engagement, share, or small donation would make a huge difference. If we can meet this goal, I would like to donate part of proceeds to Animal Friends of Lansdowne. This was the rescue that helped me get Ferdinand veterinary care when I first rescued him from my alley last summer. I would love to pay it forward in Ferdinand’s memory to help more kittens like him. Thank you so very much for your time and support.
