Honoring Eric: Help Fund His Memorial

On Sunday April 7th Eric Zawacki had plans with his mother after work, when she arrived at his Brooklyn apartment she found him dizzy and hurting. About 10 hours before Eric had slipped in the bathroom and hit his head on the tub, his mother Lorna immediately took him to the hospital and when they arrived Eric fell asleep. They discovered that Eric had been hemorrhaging in his brain for 10-12 hours since the fall and had serious brain damage. The doctor told his parents that the only options were to leave him on life support and transfer him to nursing home where he would live as a vegetable or take him off life support and allow him to die naturally. Eddie and Lorna made the most difficult choice they've ever had to make - to take him off life support, Eric Died Wednesday April 10th. Eric's wish was to donate his organs so that very same day 3 people received his heart, Liver, and kidneys all waiting in the same hospital, Eric's passing saved three people's lives.
