Honor Chris Boyd: Support Digital Rights

Chris Boyd was a man of many virtues, but one of the principal among them was his tireless efforts to defend the rights of others, especially their digital civil liberties. For two decades, Chris Boyd served on the EFF-Austin board as its treasurer, providing wise and reliable stewardship of our finances, being an endless fount of wisdom on all matters technical and legal relating to digital networks, and above all, a good friend.

On May 13, 2025, Chris was taken from us far too soon at the age of 61 via sudden cardiac arrest. To honor his memory and services to our organization, and to allow for the continuation of the digital civil liberties work he believed so strongly in, we are organizing this fundraiser to the Electronic Frontier Foundation in his name. Whether it's $5 or $500, whatever you can spare towards this cause is so appreciated both by us, and by Chris.
