Hey guys, my name is Tommy and I have been functionally homeless for a few years now (car living)- it is something I intended to keep secret but have accepted that I need help. I have tried to dig myself out of this hole, but I am not a person with a huge support group and I get buried financially when car problems and bills hit one after another. Currently, my car has been parked somewhere that is not safe from being towed and I cannot afford the risk of losing the only security I have. I fixed my battery two weeks ago, and the following night, my alternator died afterwards. On top of it dying, I unfortunately need to get it towed further away to be able to fix it. It has been a very painful past few years. Of all people, I understand how tough times are and this is something I never thought about or wanted to do. Please know *any* amount that is donated, is truly and deeply appreciated- I admittedly am a bit unsure what to set the goal at, so I set it to $1,200 because that should mainly cover the cost of my alternator and the tow. If you choose not to or are unable donate, that is totally okay and understandable- I don't want for anybody to go beyond their means. All I ask is you send prayers and/or good energy my way.
