Home Destroyed in Hurricane Harvey

Hi everyone, my name is Tristan Neidigh from Garden Valley Ca. I'm sure you all have seen the news and heard the disastrous stories of Hurricane Harvey. Unfortunately, a few family members of ours have been effected by this natural disaster. My boyfriend's brother, Elijah Lipschutz and his family (wife Laura Lipschutz, and two sons Henry and Liam) had high hopes that the storm would not be as life changing as the media had said. On Saturday night, August 26th, Eli built barriers using sand bags and more to protect the storm from flooding their newly purchased home. By Monday morning, August 28th, the rain had made it's way into their home and they were forced to call for help. They evactuated immediately and are currently staying in Austin TX, where the storm is not directly effecting like the coasal cities. Grievously, the house was not able to withstand the rising water, and the first floor was completely flooded. Their home owners insurance does NOT cover flooding, so they will be paying for all damages out of pocket. Laura is a kind hearted, amazing women who works as a teacher in Houston, along with caring for her two young boys, Liam 5 years old, and Henry almost 1 year old. Her husband Eli is a hardworking graphic designer, and dedicated father. Neither of them have asked me to create this page, or know about this page as of now (I'm sure it will cycle to them quickly). This incredibly loving, giving  family is having to tear apart their home and start fresh. I would love to raise money to help them pay for housing repairs, household items, and any other property that may have been damaged in the flood. We are are so grateful that our family is safe and have made it through the dangers of Hurricane Harvey. Any donation counts, and if you are unable to give a donation, all I am hoping for is everyones prayers for our family, along with the others effected by this terrible storm. Thank you all so much. We will be giving this family direct access to this account to spend the money toward all expenses neccisary to rebuild their home; tools to rebuild parts of home, furniture, clothing, vehicles, etc.
