Holiday Bear Project - Stonington Ed. Association

It is that time of year again when the SEA Holiday Bear Project is in full swing. Through this gift-giving project, a needy child is given the opportunity to celebrate a very special holiday because in many cases, the gifts from the Holiday Bear Project are the only gifts the child will receive. The many thank you notes the SEA/CEA has received from the grateful students and their parents, as well as from teachers, truly makes this project worthwhile. This year the Stonington Education Association has decided to sponsor 8-16 children from Stonington and I am asking for donations to support this worthwhile cause and would appreciate your support in this important endeavor. Funds collected will go towards purchasing gifts for the aforementioned students we have sponsored. Also - this year 10% of the money raised will go towards the SHS and SMS Alliance for Acceptance student groups. Surplus donations, if any, will be kept in a fund by the SEA to sponsor other SEA/CEA/NEA charity, publicity, and/or teacher recognition items. These “earmarked” funds will not be spent on the “regular” business of the organization.
