Bring Heather's Brother Home to Golden
Donación protegida
Heather Oliver and Susan Cowan are facing the worst Christmas of their lives after abruptly losing brother and son, Ian Oliver, 47, recently.
Ian's body is in Coquitlam and Heather and Susan are desperate to bring him to Golden to rest and can't grieve properly until he is home.
Thanks to Kicking Horse Culture, Heather's job is safe but she'll be on unpaid bereavement leave until she can function again.
Your community support is needed for rent and bills until Heather can go back to work.
Ian was a beautiful and kind soul who loved his sister and mother deeply. Through all his struggles, he remained gentle, thoughtful and loving. His death has ripped a hole in the universe for Heather and Susan. Your support and love will allow Heather and Susan the space and time to stitch their world back together.
If you'd like to offer day to day assistance, some help shopping for and delivering groceries would be appreciated. Most of all, Heather and Susan need time. Please donate now and give them the time without financial stress that right now only you and the strong community that surrounds them can provide.
Details for Ian's memorial will be coming in the new year, after he's been returned to his mother and sister.
Merry Christmas and happy holidays -- please hug your loved ones extra close this year.
