Hallo, ich bin Simone (die einzige Weiße auf den Bildern!;-). Ich sammle Spenden für die Situka Community Foundation in Jinja, Uganda. Ich durfte in diesem Jahr dabei sein, wie Kindern dieser Foundation Schulhefte und Stifte ausgegeben wurden, damit sie für die Schule ausgerüstet sind. Das ist nur ein Teil, der von den Freiwilligen der Foundation durchgeführt wird. Diese Menschen sind selber in diesem Dorf aufgewachsen, wurden unterstützt und hatten so die Chance Ihr Leben zu gestalten wie sie es wollten. Bildung ist so wichtig um aus dem Strudel der Armut und aus dem "aus der Hand in den Mund leben" herauszukommen. Viele Familien können sich die Kosten für Schule, besonders auch das Schulmaterial, nicht leisten und so gehen einige Kinder nicht regelmäßig, oder gar nicht in die Schule. Die Foundation kümmert sich auch darum, jungen Müttern eine Näherinnenausbildung zu ermöglichen. Außerdem werden Lebensmittel und Kleidung an Bedürftige verteilt. Ich werde im nächsten Jahr wieder in das Dorf gehen und freue mich schon sehr auf die Kinder, auf ihre Fröhlichkeit die trotz aller Schwierigkeiten so herzlich und mitreißend ist. Die Foundation hat eine große Vision: eine eigene Schule aufzubauen, in der die Kinder der Umgebung geschult werden können. Mit einem kurzen Schulweg und tollen Lehrern. Und vielleicht wird es einigen Kindern gelingen ihren großen Berufswunsch zu verwirklichen. Denn den haben alle von ihnen! Mit Bildung kann es gelingen. Und dafür habe ich diese Spendenaktion gestartet. Teilen ist ausdrücklich erwünscht!!

Hi, i`m Simone and i`m collecting donations for the situka community foundation in Jinja, Uganda. This year i was able to witness how the children of the foundation were given exercise books and pens so that they would be equipped for school. This is just one part of what the foundation´s vollunteers do. These people grew up in the village themselves, received support, and thus had the chance to shape their lives the way they wanted. Education is so important for escaping the spiral of poverty and an ´hand-to-mouth´ existence. Many families cannot afford the costs of school, especially school materials, and so some children do not go to school regularly or not at all. The foundation also provides young mothers with training as seamstresses. Furthermore, food and clothing are distributed to those in need. I´ll be going back to the village next year and i´m really looking forward to seeing the children and their joy, wich is so warm and captivating despite all the difficulties. The Foundation has a big Vision: to build it´s own school where local children can receive their education, with a short commute and great teachers. And perhaps some of the children will succeed in realizing their greatest careerdreams. Because they all have them. With education it´s possible. And that´s why i started this fundraising campaign.
