HERO Tent goes to Portland

Right now, federal troops are attacking and terrorizing protestors in Portland, sent by Trump's Department of Homeland Security to dismantle the newly revitalized movement for human rights before we can make impactful change.

HERO Tent feels that it is our responsibility to stand in solidarity with organizers and activists fighting for systemic change and to support them materially with our presence and with the aid we've been supplying all over the Bay Area - food, water, first aid, and more. 

Given the dangerous behavior of federal officers, HERO Tent has made it a priority to purchase and distribute protective equipment to keep protesters safe. We do not seek to escalate or encourage any activity that would bring protesters to harm. Rather, we aim to get helmets, goggles and other personal protective gear into the hands of Portland residents fighting for their rights and freedom.

This equipment will allow Portlanders to continue their struggle safely without fear of getting blindsided by projectiles. Oppression in this country is absolutely out of control, which makes it all the more important that we demonstrate our unity in this fight in substantive and material ways.
