Help me walk with leg braces!

As many of you know I have been wheelchair bound since June 2014, due to my genetic condition Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. After over two years of failing to get anywhere with specialists on the NHS, I went to see a knee surgeon privately and amazingly he put me in touch with an incredible orthotist who is setting me up with custom made leg braces.
These carbon fibre braces will enable me to walk and will have a huge impact on my quality of life. Whilst I will still need to use the wheelchair a lot of the time, the braces will open up a whole new world of possibilities for me.
Any extra raised will be hugely appreciated too as it can help to contribute to the cost of much needed physio.
