As you may or may not know Nicole was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. As of now her prognosis is good but she needs our help!
Living in Flin Flon she does not have access to cancer treatments and must go to Winnipeg to receive these treatments. Because she is young her doctors will give her a more aggressive course of treatment, meaning she will be away from home for up to 8 weeks. Even with short and long term disability insurance her treatments will be costly.
Although the actual treatments free and a portion of her travel to Winnipeg is subsidised she will need to pay for everything else associated with it, like the rest of the transportation cost between home and Winnipeg, daily parking at the hospital, a place to stay for 5-8 weeks for her and Sadie, food, etc. Being a single mom with one source of income her money will be stretched even farther because of the costs associated with her treatments. She will still have all of her bills to pay back home plus new ones in Winnipeg.
Anything you can spare would be greatly appreciated. Small donations add up! If we all give as little as $20 or $30 that would make a huge impact. She is a mother, daughter, neice, cousin and friend, and she needs our help!
Her treatments are expected to start mid December but it's never too early or late to donate.
