Helping Baby Vikas

Baby K. Vikas is a 2 year old suffering from a  rare cancer Langerhans cell histiocytosis. His skin and lungs are affected.  His treatment has been going on for the past year and he has to be on oxygen supply constantly. 

As heartbreaking as it is for his parents to see their little baby in this condition, the medical expenses are taking a toll on them. They are family friends and I am starting this initiative to help this family in need. 

I request all of you to please help Baby Vikas and his family through this tough time and let's pray that Vikas is able to restore to full health soon.

For all the donors, here are some more details about my campaign and how we intend to transfer the raised funds to the family in need

Who am I:
I am Shuchi Pandit, working as Software Professional in Cisco, San Jose CA. I have shared this campaign with my colleagues at Cisco and at a couple of other tech companies where my friends currently work. 

Where I am from:
I am originally from India and living in the US for past 6 years. 

My relationship to the party I am  raising funds for:
The family I am raising funds for are our Family Friends. They are currently residing in a small town in state of Tamil Nadu in India

How the funds will be used:
The funds will be used for the continuing treatment of Baby Vikas and helping his parents who have been bearing high medical expense for the past year.

How we plan to send the funds:
I will be withdrawing the raised funds as US SSN is required for the withdrawal. Entire amount will be transferred to the Vikas's Parents account using wired/online transfer to their bank account in India.
