This GoFundMe is being created for Stephanson Greene and his partner Amanda.

On 10/29/2026 at around 1:45 a.m., upon returning from work, Stephanson witnessed his home burning and his family beginning to run out of the house.

As brave first responders were arriving, Stephanson ran into the building behind his oldest child, who went back in to look for her two younger siblings trapped upstairs. His 2-year-old was pronounced dead on the scene, EMTs were able to resuscitate his 4-year-old, who was in critical condition, but unfortunately succumbed to injuries the morning of 10/31/2026. His oldest daughter remains in a coma, fighting for her life. We are praying she wakes up. Stephanson suffers from severe burns to his face and eyes, and a complete loss of peace.

His 16-year-old granddaughter also suffered burns but is stable, awake, and alive, which we are most thankful to God for. All are still in the intensive burn unit, unable to see each other. 

Early September 2026, housing concerns were reported to the Department of Public Health. The owner of the house, who lived downstairs, had until mid-November 2026 to address these concerns and be in compliance. Uncle had saved money, gave notice, and planned to move next week. Instead, this lethal fire took all the money he had saved, all of his and his family’s belongings, and the lives of his 2 youngest children.

This GoFundMe will help support funeral expenses, medical and recovery costs, new living arrangements, and rebuilding his family’s life from the ground up.
