Hi, my name is Heather Hitchcock, and I am the owner of Royal Roofing. I am creating this fundraiser on Christmas Day to support a young man who works for me and his brother as they face the most heartbreaking season of their lives.

Recently, these two young men in their 20s experienced a devastating loss — their mother tragically took her own life. She was a single mom who raised them on her own, and now they are left to navigate not only their grief, but also the overwhelming responsibilities that come with such a sudden loss.

They live here in Texas with no other family nearby. In a moment when no one should feel alone, they urgently need community, love, and support to help them stand back up and move forward.

Out of respect for their privacy and during this incredibly vulnerable time, I am not sharing their names. I am using my own name to protect their identity and to ensure they can grieve without public attention, while still receiving the help they so deeply need.

Funds raised will go toward:

• Immediate living expenses

• Funeral and related costs

• Bills and basic necessities

• Giving them breathing room to heal without the added weight of financial stress

These are hardworking, respectful young men who never imagined asking for help. But right now, they need it.
