Hey everyone, this post is probably going to be the most vulnerable thing I have ever done. Anyone who knows me knows I don’t ever try and ask for help until I desperately need it. Unfortunately my dad has had lung cancer since 2021. His tumor was shrinking for quite some time, but within the past few months his most recent CAT scan wasn’t good. The cancer was coming back more aggressively. Something in me told me that my time was being cut short with him, and he was the one helping me watch my daughter just so I could work to cover my monthly bills and anything my daughter needed. Since he got more sick, he physically couldn’t help me watch my daughter anymore. So this past month I have had to call out so much because if I didn’t have someone to watch my child, then I had to be with her. So what I’m trying to say is, I wanted to spend this last bit of time I knew I had left with my daddy and that I wasn’t working enough to be able to cover my monthly bills. I am exactly $1,377 behind. I want everyone to know exactly what the money will be helping me with, so I will go in detail what the money is going to. I have my car payment which is $230 a month, I have my car insurance which will be $422 because I’m 2 months behind, $310 for personal loans, $193 for court costs (I’m handling this myself) $72 for phone bill, $150 what I owed left on rent this past month. I feel wrong asking for help, but I knew a job would always be there and my dad wouldn’t. I saw him slipping away before my eyes, I didn’t want to take that time for granted. Whatever helps, and know I am screaming from the bottom of my heart it means so much to me. I will be starting back work Monday, I just got Aarya my daughter into daycare this week so I can work. My dad stayed long enough for me to figure out my life after he was gone. I love each and every one of you and it means the world to me, my dad, Aarya.
