It has been a tough week for thousands of residents of the city of Altadena. The Eaton fire has claimed the home of our dear friend Lanelle Scott.

Lanelle lived in a rental property off of Lake Avenue for over 30 years with her dog, Lucy.

Her home was where she was rebuilding her business from a set back a few years ago.

Those of you who know Lanelle know that she is one of the kindest and most generous people you could ever meet. She would give you the shirt off her back and the last dollar in her pocket. She would always compliment strangers on the street, making their day brighter.

Today we ask if you can, please help make her days going forward a little easier. These funds will assist with needs that might not be fully covered by other sources of aid.

She left with only a small bag, Lucy, and her car keys.
