Helping Kayne get back on his feet.

Kayne's life changed beyond recognition on 22nd February this year.
What Kayne and his family are going through at the minute I would not wish on anyone.
I've had the pleasure of knowing Kayne since he was a little boy and he has always been a old soul, wise beyond years, he was always focused and years older than his age, this focus led him into the RAF at aged 17, we were all so proud, after 7 years Kayne left got a mortgage
at the ripe old age of 24 and started a career in engineering.
Kayne has seen most of the world already in the RAF but hasn't been to Thailand, so that's where he decided to go this go in February with his mates, do some island hopping.
All was well until 22nd February when Kayne woke up with numbness and pins and needles in his legs and feet, as he had climbed a mountain 24 hours before he didn't think much of this at first. Until it got worse and started travelling up his body.
Kayne went to hospital , they did bloods and couldn't find a concern, Kayne knew something was wrong and as this got worse and started effecting his breathing he got the feeling something was badly wrong, him and his best mate Cole booked the next flight home, and thank god he did.
Two flights later and Kayne could no longer walk, needing a wheelchair at Manchester to get him to a taxi, Kayne went straight to ANE.
A few hours later Kayne was struggling to breath, test were run and Kane was diagnosed with Guillain barre syndrome, GBS short., please research this.
GBS is among one of the most cruel diseases I have ever seen, it tell the bad nerves to attack the good, within 24 hours of this diagnosis Kayne's was ventilated as his mum watched in horror, Kayne at this time cant move his body, slight movement in one hand is all he has, he cant hold is own head, swallow, breath, eat, use the bathroom or speak only mouth words, he seems to have a particularly nasty strain of the disease and has
been turned back into a baby by this extremely rare disease
that effects around 1 or 2 people per 100,00 each year.
Kayne will recover, this has good recovery rate,
but its long and painful. He has the most amazing mum (shelly) who has literally taken weeks off work and not left his side and a amazing extended family and friends, but he is struggling both physically and mentally to deal with this.
One of the last things he said before he no longer had a voice was "mum how am i gonna pay my mortgage"
That's why I'm doing this, Kayne has his whole life ahead of him, he has never done a bad thing to anyone and is in no way to blame for what has happened.
He needs help getting back on his feet, paying his bills and mortgage and going forward he is going to need assistance with everything, adaptations will need to be made and 24 hour care for at least the next 6 months.
Everyone is skint, even if its just a few quid all this will help support this young lad going forward, make him feels he's not alone.
Thankyou for listening please share and say a little prayer for Kayne xxx
