My baby got hurt, badly! I got home yesterday evening and he was not wanting to move or so I thought. He’s super sensitive & usually gets spooked so I thought something scared him. I picked him up and he screamed, a scream so loud and so scary, i’ve never heard it before. I took him to a nearby vet other than our usual one and they did normal exams. My baby could not walk. He calmed down after awhile and could rest on his side without screaming. I took him home and made sure I set up an appointment to my home vet today. I asked for X-Rays because this is not normal. Kaiser has broken BOTH back legs I’m so heart broken. How & why did this happen???? Maybe if I had gotten home sooner this could have all been prevented. His surgery and recovery cost is totaling over $5000. I need him happy and back to his normal self!! He is not covered by insurance & I am a single mother. I need help, please! Advice, anything! Are there any programs that can help? My vet offers care credit but approval was not accepted. I’m at a lost and this is such bad timing. What have any of you done with furbabies who were so badly hurt? I’m supposed to be getting out of the military this September and was saving for a place but it’s not enough.

My goal is $4000 because I am going to throw whatever I have towards his vet fees ❤️
