Let's help Coach James to get on his feet!

James Rautis, the Table Tennis Coach and friend to the DFW Table Tennis community, has encountered several health issues over the past couple of years. James has been involved in Table Tennis as a player, coach, umpire, and club officer spanning the last 50 years. Coach James' true passion has been coaching students from ages 7 to 90 with the same patience and cares no matter the student's ability. He attended several international coaching clinics in the past to hone his overall coaching skills. This last week Coach James encountered another setback from a diabetic foot infection resulting in the amputation of his left lower leg. Coach James has been overwhelmed with the love and kindness shown by the local table tennis community. He has an incredibly positive attitude and is extremely grateful for everyone's thoughts and prayers. Coach James is scheduled to leave the hospital later this week and then be transported to a rehabilitation center where he will stay for several weeks.
