Help Darius overcome Cancer

Donación protegida
We were blessed to have our last child named Darius, in 2005 at St. Mary’s hospital in the High Desert (California).  He is our youngest son who is now 12 years old.  He has grown up in the High Desert, attending a couple of schools in Victor Elementary School District and one in Adelanto.

Darius is a laid back kid who loves baseball, video games and hanging out with his brothers.  However, Darius had to sit out this baseball season,  because he was afraid of getting hurt. You see, before baseball season got here, Darius wasn't feeling himself.  He had started the school year as a 7th grader, finally in Junior High School. Darius was excited to go to his new school and was even more elated when he joined up with friends from his baseball team and prior schools.

Unfortunately, he was only able to attend school for 2 weeks before he started complaining of a headaches and pain in his legs. Darius missed the next week of school as the pain got worse.  After taking him to urgent care,  he was later admitted into the hospital. The final outcome after all the test were run was CANCER.

He was diagnosed with Lymphoepithelial Carcinoma, which we are told is a very rare form of cancer not generally found in children. The mass is sitting on his heart, at over 8cm. There is also a portion behind his heart and on his trachea.  Chemotherapy is very dangerous for a child this age, especially with the specific location of the cancer. Needless to say, this diagnosis has turned our lives upside down.

As parents we are seeking the path for Darius’ healing, starting with our Heavenly Father.  We believe that God is the true healer and he is opening our eyes daily with knowledge on how to change our bodies environment to bring about healing.  We are so grateful for all the prayers that are going up on Darius’ behalf, from all of our friends and family. We initially put Darius on a vegan diet with half his vegetables being raw by juicing.  We have spent an enormous amount of money on all organic foods, herbs, vitamins and other aids.

We are seeking additional care that is not covered by our insurance and not close to our home. That’s what brings us here.  We need help with travel cost, transportation, and treatment.

Darius is a very loving and caring child.  He is the most affectionate of all of our children.  Not a day goes by without a kiss, a hug and an “I love you” from Darius, several times a day.

We would appreciate any help.

Thank you,
The Brown Family
