Lauren and Jerome Gauthey have lived in Thailand for the last 3.5 years, volunteering as teachers in a ministry dedicated to creating brighter futures for young people from neighboring Myanmar.
They welcomed their first baby, Zoë, in October 2020. Due to COVID, their families weren’t able to travel to Thailand for the birth, and Lauren and Jerome really want to bring Zoë to meet their families and friends this year. She’s growing like a weed and won’t be little for long! They hope to visit in the Spring/Summer of 2021.
If you’d like to donate, you’ll be helping Lauren and Jerome get home and introduce their daughter to her homes around the world. It will mean the world to them! THANK YOU in advance :)
Donations will go toward the following expenses:
*Flights to the US, Switzerland, and back to Thailand: $2,200 after Lauren and Jerome’s credits and savings
*Mandatory two-week quarantine upon returning to Thailand: $3,500-$4,000
*Three rounds of mandatory COVID tests for Lauren and Jerome before boarding flights: $~300
