Help ShaTávia’s Children Cost of Care and Future

From Mom:

”On January 23, 2022 ShaTavia (29) was placed on life support after going into a cardiac arrest due to health complications. She was left without a heartbeat for longer than about 10-15 minutes, before paramedics was called to reach her with good quality CPR and careful post-resuscitation care. She was resuscitated with a weak pause but remained in a coma so she was placed on life support.

 

ShaTávia was in a coma on life support for 3 days before being determined her brain suffer irreparable damage. Two weeks short of her 30th birthday her parents had to make the difficult decision to take her off life support due to her brain and other organs steadily declining, it hasn’t been easy especially she has 3 children that will be raised without a mother in their life.

 

At the time of her passing she did not have any burial or life insurance in place to cover expenses. It had lapsed at 25 and mom was not able to renew it prior to her death. We are asking her family & friends and as a community to help the family with funeral and medical expenses that have accumulate so that we can celebrate her life with us - and assist in supporting her three children.
