Hi everyone, I’m fundraising for my wife’s cancer treatment. My wife Paula is beginning her fourth year battling Ovarian Cancer. She is an amazing woman who continues to fight every day to be cancer free. We have accumulated thousands of dollars in bills during this process and continue to mount up medical debt. We have insurance, but due to the high cost of coverage, deductibles, out of pocket expenses and missed work we struggle financially. I want to be able to help relieve her stress and worry by raising money to offset some of the medical expenses.

   Paula’s cancer journey began in 2021 during a “simple gallbladder removal surgery” that changed our lives forever. During the procedure the surgeon discovered many tumors lining her interior organs. He stopped the procedure and closed her up and waited until she woke up to tell her the life altering news. We discovered that week she had Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer and would have to start chemotherapy immediately. Paula spent the next six months enduring chemotherapy treatments. Her only break was for a complete hysterectomy and gallbladder removal. Thankfully the surgery was a success and the chemo worked. She was deemed cancer free later that year.

Unfortunately, the battle was won, but the war wasn’t over. She spent 2022 taking chemo maintenance pills and having regular blood work and scans done. The year was a chance to live again and embrace second chances. However, in 2023 the cancer decided to come back. We were devastated again. She had done everything the doctors asked, but cancer is relentless. Paula began chemotherapy again and continues to fight every day. She has taken 13 chemo treatments since that diagnosis and now she’s being told that she must endure an additional 16 treatments at the minimum. She is a fighter, but she is tired. 

   My goal is to help her live her life. I watch her struggle mentally, physically and emotionally every day. It’s the doctors, nurses and god that work to keep her alive and my job to help her live. Please, help me provide my wife with some peace of mind and financial assistance. I hope that your donation will allow her to have the opportunity to enjoy the life we have together and the encouragement to continue her fight. She will never give up and we should never give up on her.
