I am hoping to raise funds for Carl Bayer’s insurance premiums and copays. We all love Carl ( right, in the photo above)and Sean and would do all we can too help him. We all know Carl lost his partner Sean Lackey this past year. Sean was the provider. Carl was also on his insurance. Sean’s employer Williams Sonoma was gracious to pay 6 months of premiums. And now the time has run out and Carl needs to pay this.
He has applied to American Kidney Foundation who had agreed too pay part of the premiums through 2022. However , now that Ca has passed AB 290, it’s impossible for AKF to fund any patients in Ca, as of tomorrow. Carl has complete kidney failure and must have dialysis 3 times a week. In addition he has other serious medical conditions including a necrotizing tissue disorder as well as frequent procedures too keep his veins from clotting.
We all know Carl would never ask for help so I decided to do it for him. I. know all of us would love to help Carl out. Any amount will help. Thank you so much. All money received will go to pay health care premiums, prescriptions and copays for Carl. Please share if you can’t donate. Every share helps. Carl is currently only receiving Medicare A & B that pays 80% of his medical bills. Carl currently has no prescription drug coverage. As of 01/15/2020 I Owe $2,054.46 for December - February for COBRA premiums. That statement will be posted in the photos I have posted two nongory animated videos that show the unexpected surgery Carl had to have Friday when he went back to his Vascular Surgeon to follow up from the surgery he had on Monday.
