Help Whitney Conner Overcome Chiari Malformation Surgery
Hello everyone,
As some of you may know, Whitney is facing a challenging journey ahead. After years of struggling with symptoms, she recently been diagnosed with Chiari malformation, a condition exacerbated by a traumatic accident a decade ago. A Chiari malformation is a condition that affects her brain and essentially all body functions. This has made everyday activities unpredictable and sometimes debilitating.
Whitney has been suffering for a long time with extreme headaches, numbness on one half her body, emotional and physical distress. Those are just a few symptoms she has been dealing with silently. Whitney shared with me that over the past months, symptoms have intensified, affecting her ability to function as a mother and small business owner in Waynesville, NC. Simple tasks like turning her head or speaking loudly can trigger episodes where I lose sensation and mobility. "It's like living in a constant storm of uncertainty and discomfort, where even the weather can impact my health."
Now, after seeing three neurosurgeons, she is preparing for brain surgery on August 14th, which is essential to prevent the risk of paralysis, aneurysms, or strokes. The road ahead is daunting, especially with the financial strain of managing both household and business expenses during her recovery. As a self-employed individual, there's no safety net of paid time off, and every day away impacts my livelihood.
I, Joanna Wright, Whitneys aunt, am reaching out for your support during this critical time. Your donations will help cover medical bills, household expenses, and allow her the necessary time to recover without the added stress of financial burden. Your kindness and generosity will not only support her but also her children, who deserve to see their mother healthy and happy again.
Thank you for being a part of this journey. Your prayers, well wishes, and any contribution you can make are deeply appreciated. Together, we can help Whitney and her family overcome this challenge and look forward to brighter days ahead.
With love and gratitude,
Whitney's family and friends
